Hyponatremia: Etiology and Management in High-Risk Patients- Describe the pathophysiology of water retention in cardiac failure, cirrhosis, and SIADH. Identify critical treatment issues, and issues related to hyponatremia correction rate, and their potential solutions. Differentiate between the available vasopressin receptor antagonists (VRAs) and their clinical applications in the management of hyponatremic patients with heart failure, cirrhosis, or SIADH. Apply diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge to the care of high-risk hyponatremic patients.
